  • What's Garden on the Grow?
    Garden on the Grow is a North Carolina-based gardening service that designs and delivers complete gardening kits to customers. We also provide ongoing maintenance of our gardens through our Water, Weed and Service Programs. Our main mission is to get everyone gardening, no matter their space or circumstance. While we're currently only serving folks in central NC, we're rapidly expanding throughout the SE due to demand.
  • It says you don't deliver to my area?
    While we cover the majority of central NC, some areas require confirmation from our customers that the address is correct. Please reach out to us via chat or email, letting us know the general area you're wanting delivered to, and we'll see if we service that region!
  • When are you open?
    We have live, US-based customer service Mon-Sun, 9am-5pm EST. Our Garden Install teams operate Mon-Sunday from 10am-8pm, with our Water, Weed and Support teams operating from 7am-8pm, Mon-Sun.
  • How long does it take to receive my order?
    Most orders take 5 business days to arrive on your doorstep, ready for install. We provide regular updates regarding your order status, and also reach out once we've received your order to confirm a good time and day. If you've purchased installation services, plan for a day that our team can arrive and work on your property uninterrupted, and that you're available to provide initial instruction on exactly how you'd like your garden installed.
  • What is your return policy?
    Due to the nature of our services, all sales are final once you pay for your order. While we do not offer returns or refunds, we work hard to ensure our customers are fully satisfied and excited about their new gardening experience, and stand by our services 100%. If you have an issue with any portion of your experience with Garden on the Grow, please reach out to us and allow us to try to make it right. While we cannot guarantee the success of your plants, soil or gardening beds once they've left our hands, we do provide monthly subscription services that provide real life expert support to help ensure your long-term success.
  • What if I have a larger project?
    Reach out to us and we'll get it done! You can use our chat button or email us.
  • Are you all hiring?
    We're always accepting applications! Feel free to email us your information.
  • What if I don't know how to Garden?
    That's OK! We provide detailed maintenance instructions with every order! And because you are building a complete ecosystem with organic soil, plants and structure, you have the best chances of success in your area! Don't have the time or energy? Check out our weekly maintenance packages, where one of our gardening specialists comes out to your garden once or twice a week to water, weed, and maintain your garden for you! (Currently available in central NC.)
  • How do I know what plants I'm going to receive?
    Great question! During checkout, we ask "What specific veggies, fruits, or herbs do you want in your garden bed (ie: tomatoes)?". Feel free to use this space to request which types of veggies, fruits or herbs you'd like in your garden bed. Also, please know that while we try to honor specific requests, sometimes these plants are unavailable and we have to go with what is currently growing and in season from our Nursery Partners. You can also leave this space blank, and we will bring you a variety of popular, in-season organic plant starts based on the general type of plants you've chosen (veggies, fruits, herbs).
